Transforming Leadership
Omri Geffen

In every organization and community, there is a recurring leadership challenge: the gap between strategy, performance, and results on the one hand, and the deeper foundations that enable them - organizational culture, leadership, and relationships - on the other. My work focuses on narrowing this gap by strengthening collaboration, trust, consensus-building, and the capacity for joint action in complex realities.

As a senior consultant, I lead processes within and between organizations, communities, and sectors, working with management teams and leaders in the fields of collaboration, negotiation, mediation, and consensus-building.

I also lead the Negotiation Track at Lahav Executive Education, Tel Aviv University, and have previously taught at Reichman University and Ben-Gurion University.

For more than three decades, my work has focused on creating impact across social, organizational, and public spheres. Following the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, I founded the Gevim Group, which helped establish mediation as a professional field in Israel, served as its CEO for over two decades, and until recently was a founding partner of the Gome-Gevim Group.

The ability to face the great challenges of our time - social, organizational, human, and environmental - depends on leaders capable of shifting from an Ego-system mindset to an Eco-system mindset.

The future of human society will not be determined solely by technology, power, or resources, but primarily by our ability to build collaboration, trust, and value-creating partnerships across differences.

This is the challenge, and perhaps the mission, of leaders from all sectors and nations.

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there."

Jalal ad-Din Rumi
